HENRI BENDEL BAGS SPRING 2018 Pt.2
Hey hey, HB babes! It’s Part 2 of my collaboration with Henri Bendel! Our collection today will get you PUMPED for summer with totally unique, colorful pieces from their latest collection. In this post, I’m styling a perforated bucket bag, beachy wristlet pouch, customizable shoulder bag and a few bright accessories. The entire launch is stacked with soooo many vibrant, happy bags (EVEN RAINBOW ITEMS, Eeeee!!!). If you have tons of neutral pieces in your closet (like me), it’s fun to incorporate a jolt of color in your life. One bag or accessory can completely change the vibe of your outfit. Adrienne Y and I had so much fun taking these pieces for a spin- they just put a huge smile on our faces!!

Our first bag of the day is the West 57th Perforated Bucket Bag in Golf Green! I have been LOVING the emergence of green this season, so I was thrilled to style this bright green bag. Bucket bags have honestly been a personal favorite of mine for years. They are roomy, sturdy and allow you quick access to your items. This one features soft, delicately pebbled leather with gorgeous laser cut detailing, and perforation is a great way to add a unique, airy texture to your look. I also appreciate that the strap is long enough to comfortably wear as a shoulder bag. This bucket bag along with its brightly colored friends scream summer!

I decided to ride those summer vibes and go with an all time fav summer outfit idea, a crop top with high waisted straight leg jeans. I opted for a distressed, light wash pair of jeans for a vintage feel and threw on some yellow mules to compliment the yellow interior of the bag.

For an additional punch or color and discretion, the West 57th Perforated Bucket Bag also comes with a bright yellow nylon zippered pouch that can be removed and worn alone as a crossbody or clutch. The interior of the bag’s outer shell is also bright yellow so you alway get a glimpse of contrasting color ;)
One of my go-to accessories (especially for summer!) is a hair scarf. To amp up the vibrant green from my bag, I fastened my hair into a low ponytail with the Henri Bendel Sport Silk Scarf in Red. Ribbons of rainbow flow through this full sized scarf and the greens match up so well!! As always, the HB scarf game is SO STRONG, featuring incredibly high quality silks with luxurious, yet playful designs. I didn’t have a red one in my collection yet, so welcome to the family, baby!

Next up, the cutest beach pouch you’ve ever seen!!! Similar to the pom pom pouch I featured last month, this pouch has a solid leather bottom and a nice roomy size for all of your essentials. The classic HB stripe pattern comes to life with the neon braided rope wristband and oversized monstera leaf and surfboard keychain. The mix of textures and patterns really give this pouch a graphic pop. The touches of hot pink also match perfectly with the Henri Bendel Sport Silk Scarf in my hair. It’s funky, cute and sporty and adorable to carry around during the hot summer days!

Jumpsuits all day, everyday. I wanted this pure white bag to pop off a bright background, so I paired it with a sunset orange jumpsuit. The color combo looks so mod, and I love it! The silhouette is so clean, you can wear it with playful summer outfits or take it to work with a linen blazer.

Last but not least, have to give a shoutout to the adorable baubles at HB. In both stylings, I rocked the new Aster Sculpt Linear Earrings in Gold. I’ve been OBSESSIVELY COLLECTING geometric and acrylic style earrings the past few weeks, so these combined a nice balance between metal and color. They were a perfect compliment to the hair scarf and colorful accessories in this post.
