Hi! It’s your girl, Erica! Welcome to the little corner of the internet where I share my world, my life and whatever the hell is going on in my head. This blog is an extension of my YouTube channel, so in addition to an overload of fashion inspiration, you will find sprinklings of beauty reviews, lifestyle tips, shopping guides, diary entries, home decor porn and delicious recipes. Yes, this menu contains a little bit of everything ;)

My current style profile is classic with touches of Cali boho, minimalist and street style. My focus is to create (1) a foundation of versatile basics that can easily be mixed with the trendier pieces and (2) a ton of outfit ideas that you can replicate at home. As I say on my YouTube channel, I want to provide a continuous stream of inspiration so that YOU can piece together a customized wardrobe that makes you feel 100.

A little background: I started this blog back in 2009 (HOE LEE FREAKIN’ CRAP). Originally, this site was a way to distract myself from a bad relationship, but little did I know, I had found a new love called online content creation. I know, so sexy. This passion eventually spread to YouTube where I started to create videos from my dorm room by stacking my accounting books into a tripod-like shape and balancing my white MacBook on top like a christmas tree angel. I found that my blog was a fun way to spew my thoughts into writing and my YouTube channel was the perfect way to express my personality. Unfortunately though, a girl’s gotta put food on the table, so I quickly jumped into a full time desk job after graduation and decided to keep my YouTube life a night time/weekend hobby.

I always dreamed that my passion and career would intersect one day, so I never gave up. I worked my 9 to 5 and filmed videos into the late hours of the night for five years. I remember those late nights so vividly… Even though no one was watching my videos back then, I l o v e d making them and knew one day it could open a different door for me. Late 2016 was the turning point for the Miss Louie channel, and I am now SO blessed to be able to pursue my YouTube and blogging dreams full time.

2017 Erica: I currently live in the Bay Area with my patient/loving/supportive/amazing husband, Jeremy, my living teddy bear of a dog, Boba, and long time rabbit roommate, Bunnie. I recently moved here from Austin (was there 10 years and I really miss it!), but I am originally from San Francisco, so this Cali girl is happy to be home. I now work full time as a YouTuber and blogger, and I could not have asked God for a more beautiful life. My goal is to share, to learn and to grow as a person throughout this journey, never holding back and always staying true to myself. As with all late 20 yr olds, I’m just trying to navigate my way into full adulthood while trying to look AND feel fabulous (inside and out) at the same time.

if you would like to chat or collaborate with me, please contact me at contact{at}misslouie.com

all my love, E

Erica, your website revamp looks amazing! Congratulations on the momentous life changes you’re making. You have such a wonderful presence in your videos that seems both effortless and warm, and I’m so happy to see that the Miss Louie family is growing. The care you put into creating content and editing videos really showcase your talent for this and your commitment to sharing your passions with the community you’ve built. I think you do such a great job of appealing to women of all ages and backgrounds and across all price points; you really do offer your viewers/readers options that balance classic style with individual taste, quality options with affordability, and looks that are on-trend with pieces that are timeless. Best of luck in your adventures ahead– you deserve all the wonderful success that will inevitably come your way!
