PLEATED GINGHAM

gingham is hands down my favorite print of 2015. i can’t believe this picnic tablecloth print has transformed itself into a luxury runway pattern! it’s almost like a clean, modernized plaid, and i especially loved it on dvf and michael kors. i can see gingham thriving in the next seasons to come. so funny how fashion repeats itself over and over – the most retro trends tend to be the most fashion forward!

the dress in today’s post is a CRAZY STEAL for only $35. it looks just like a designer dress, it’s so breathable and the size of the pattern is spot on. the pleats add an extra level of sophistication, and tea length is very classy. i added a huge floppy straw hat to make the look more retro and ladylike. i can’t wait to literally repeat this print every single season!! image source
