BLUE BLAZER + DISTRESSED DENIM SHORTS

hi guys! today i’m channeling my inner jessica simpson (circa 2006 and ONLY 2006) and breakin’ out my daisy duuuuuukes. earlier this spring, my life did a complete 180 when i discovered ONE TEASPOON DENIM. holy. flaming. cake balls, people!! every one teaspoon pair is destroyed to unique perfection. i have searched the ends of the earth for affordable denim that looked this effortlessly cool, and i’m happy to say my search is over. i’m wearing my bandits cobain pair today in this outfit. they ride high along the outer seams (to make your gams look miles long), and the double roll at the hem gives the pair an extra “lived in” feel.

to contrast these worn in shorts, i threw on a fitted, tailored blazer and a plain white tee. i have no idea why i love the “blazer + denim shorts” combo so much. i think my secret love for menswear and tiny shorts just reared its ugly head and voila! this is what happened!

the shining star of this look is, of course, this beautiful Kelly Wynne Princess bag in Golden Jubilee. this little gem throws off the most gorgeous glow, and i love the beautiful woven print and cleverly placed hand strap. a great companion for a night out on the town or any outfit that needs a midas touch.
