HUNTER GREEN + STRIPED CROSSBODY
happy tuesday! is it seriously september already!? this year flew by so fast, and i can’t believe my 1 year wedding anniversary to this guy is literally a week away. we had a blast this past weekend attending the kelly clarkson & pentatonix concert and partying with my cousin that was in town for a bachelor party. the concert was hands down one of the best i’ve ever attended, and i even got to meet kelly clarkson in person!!! #evidence the next few months for us are going to be busy, busy, busy, BUT at least it’s my favorite time of the year :)
fall has always been my favorite season since i was a kid. i love the color palette, the moderate weather, dark rinse jeans with leather boots, and pumpkin spice everything. now that september is finally here, i’ve started to inject some new fall pieces into my weekly rotation. this month i will be focusing on summer to fall transition wear and selecting items that i can build on in the colder months.
for today’s look, i had the HONOR of working with the great todd white! after running into him at events and hearing my blogger girlfriends chatter about his amazing work, i felt so lucky to be able to finally work with him. todd is like a one man band, i tell ya! every detail is noticed, every shot is thought through, every question is answered and every idea is creative. he is such a professional, and we had a blast shooting with him. please check him out if you are here in the austin, georgetown or san antonio area. you will not be disappointed!
OKAY, ERICA. TO THE OUTFIT. today’s look is super simple. i found this crazy affordable $15 dress at f21 online and thought it was a perfect fall staple. you can wear it with boots, heels or flats, and it will look great under any piece of outerwear. it’s also the perfect hunter green for fall. next, i just really loved how this tan crossbody bag popped on the warmth of the hunter green. the color palette and striping on the bag reminded me of a classic polo or an equestrian match, hehe! playing with these rich colors is a nice way to tip toe into fall without sweating your butt off in jeans and sweaters. lastly, i threw on my blush patent rockstud dupes from halogen for a neutral, yet trendy touch. thanks for stopping by today, guys, and hope you have a wonderful day! xoxo E
