ST IVES PEAR NECTAR + SOY BODY LOTION + WASH

the temperature is finally dropping, and it’s time to revamp our fall and winter skincare routines! i have to be honest… i used to never adjust my skincare to the seasons, but after years of neglect, i’ve starting to notice signs of aging and fatigue. as a teenager, i would get SO LAZY and skip easy steps like applying lotion after showering, applying cream before bed and properly exfoliating in the shower. my skin simply does not retain its luminosity and amount of moisture it used to, so i’m always on the lookout for moisturizing fixer uppers.

andddd speaking of lack of moisture, today’s post is an extra special one :) i received a FABULOUS care package from St.Ives filled with chocolate shaped pears (YAZZZ I ATE THEM ALL) and their new St. Ives Refresh & Revive Pear Nectar & Soy Lotion and Wash. i can’t even tell you how DELICIOUSLY JUICY these bottles smell. pear is one of my favorite scents of all time, and this lotion and wash captures the real essence of the fruit. it doesn’t smell like artificial perfume-y crap, just pure heaven!

i tried both products back to back the next day and was truly impressed in my skin’s condition. the wash made my shower so pleasant smelling, and the lotion is the exact consistency i enjoy- lightweight, fluid and fast dissolving. this lotion not only feels great, but it is also made with 100% natural moisturizes that boost your skin’s natural radiance and keeps the moisture locked in all day. also, i have really, really sensitive skin and had zero irritation throughout the day. the pear extract and soy was a delightful, bright note to start my day indeed.
