It was a quick trip en route to SoCal, but it was very special because my dad just finished a similar hard chapter in his life and we were able to celebrate together - in peace, gratitude and appreciation of life.

I ate my favorite foods and did my routine Asian shopping for my favorites. Then we hit the night market and enjoyed the best Bay Area vibes.

My dad's partner, Salome, leaned over to me at dinner and whispered "Isn't life so beautiful?"... I couldn't agree with her more.
